Caleb Black’s world is falling apart; he’s on the run after a body is found in his apartment building – and he’s the main suspect. And to make matters worse the dead are talking to him, and he’s being chased by strange men with tattooed foreheads with powers beyond explanation. The key to all his problems is a set of tarots that a vagabond old man gave him. All he needs to do is find a fortuneteller named Mamma, so she can guide him through the madness. An ex-girlfriend is also on the scene, but she just brings more questions than answers.

Parkingdom is home to a hidden society of tiny gnomes whose whole world resides inside the tall walls of a vast inner-city park; watched over by their Watcher from a large billboard. Then, without warning she disappears along with all the noisy humans.

Fisher and Bel have been sent away by the city elders to the Great Green Gates, to the Wardens Office, to find out why? It is a perilous journey through the deserted human section of the park and across the uncharted Wild Lands. Soon they find themselves travel companions with a witch’s ferret and a scrawny long toothed rat, and befriended by a strange little green snotling that knows a startling secret.

Upon returning they discover their city under the control of a hostile neighbouring city’s army. Has their Watcher deserted them in their time of greatest need? Will the elders understand their Watcher’s cryptic message? Moreover, will they – along with their rebellious e lders – be able to do anything to save their family and friends?

He loves to travel and has been to twenty-nine different counties, and lived in Mexico City, Mexico for far too long for a pale skinned European. He has also been married twice – and still refuses to say where he buried them. At present , he works as an Optical Technician.
