Everyone stood and walked out at the end of my introduction. Lexie was waiting patiently for me outside...well, as patiently as she could.

“Good Lord woman, hurry up before we miss all the good stuff down there!” She rose to her feet and linked arms with me as we headed to the portal.

“I'm thinking of asking the Creator for something.” I told her.

“Like what? We have everything we need already.” She looked at me with a crazy expression.

I shook my head, “Not everything.”

“What could you possibly be missing, then? I'm pretty sure you're crazy and are trying to push your luck with him,” she snorted.

“If I don't ask, I'll never know if he would have said yes or no. I'm ready to start another chapter in my afterlife. Don't get me wrong, I'm completely happy with what I have now but there's just that one thing missing.”

“Stop freakin beating around the bush and just tell me!” she said, exacerbated.

“I want a family of my own. I want to have a family with Kellin but I'm pretty sure he would never go for it.”

“A family? You're a Collector; you don't have time for a family right now.”

“Do you think it's possible?”

“I don't know. Guess you'll have to ask. What does Kellin think about this?”

“I haven't brought it up to him.”

“So you want to start a family?” I spun around and the Creator was standing behind me. I nodded my head. “I know there are some strange things that happen up here and even I don't understand everything but one thing I know is...you already began a family before talking about it out loud today.”

I was shocked. “How is that possible here?”

“I really don’t know. It’s never happened before.”

“So, does that mean I have to have to have it down there or here or what? I don't know what to do.”

He smiled. “How about before you start working on those details you go talk to Kellin. I'm fairly certain he would like to know first.”

“Oh snap! You're right! Thank you.” Lexie and I ran to the portal and went down to where Kellin and Kale were fishing. Lexie called Kale away so I could talk to Kellin alone.

“What are you girls doing here?” he asked suspiciously.

I grinned, “Just wanted to come see you guys and see what you're up to.” I lay back on my elbows and stared at my belly.

“What's going on? You're like, uber happy for some reason,” he eyed me cautiously. I was used to that look.

“Well, I have some really scary but awesome news.”

“What is it?”

I sat up and crossed my legs Indian style. I reached over for his hand, making him put the fishing rod down, and placed it across my abdomen. No words were needed. His face lit up with excitement as he began to cry with happiness. I leaned back on my elbows again as he kissed over my womb and then he reached up and pulled me to his face for one of his electrifying kisses.

“How is this possible?” he asked.

“We're not sure. Creator has no idea how it happened but I know one thing. For this child to have done what no one else has done surely means we are going to have our hands full and I can't wait. This child is going to be truly amazing. Who said being dead is the end of life? I say, it’s only the beginning.”
