“I’m not nearly done with you.”

He growled in his chest as he stirred a
finger inside of her.

“No. No more.”

“Oh yes, Sutton.

I
promised you when everything was said and done there would be no part of you
left unclaimed. Do you remember that?”

“Yes, Professor.”

“Then you understand that meant this luscious ass of yours.”

His words were accompanied by the pop of a top, followed by
the cool sensation of lube being spread over her perineum and around her
puckered hole. He eased a finger inside her, and she winced as the tight
muscles protested.

“Relax, love, let me in.”

He added more lube and continued to work his finger inside slow and
steady. She took deep breaths and forced her cheeks to unclench as she gave
herself over to the man who’d brought her so much pleasure. She could do this
for him.

“That’s my girl. Take a deep breath.” He pushed in further,
and she bit her lip as he added another finger. He paused. His fingers
retreated as he added more lube before he slid two fingers back inside her
tight channel.

“How’s that feel?”

“Better.”

The
coolness of the lube coupled with the easy glide he’d settled into turned the
stinging discomfort into a throbbing that made her moan.

“Oh my God.”
She pushed
herself against his questing fingers as a new sensation spiraled through her
body.

“I knew you’d like it, pet; now hold still while I fill you
with something much better than my fingers.”

Her body shook with the effort to remain still as he lined
his tip up with her rosette.

When he
eased passed the tight ring of muscles to slowly sink home she went boneless
against the bench beneath her.

He
stilled when his balls rested against her ass.

“Are you okay?”

“Yes, Professor!”

“You want me to continue.”

“Yes! Yes!” She cried, afraid to even move, lest he stop.

“Then that’s what you’ll get.”

He drew out and pushed back in.
“I want to feel this tight hole milk my cock.”

His words made her moan as her body tightened.

Sidney
reached
around to manipulate her overtaxed nub, and she let go. A gush of fluid
exploded and dripped down her thighs, covering them both.

“That’s it, my girl.
Come for me.” Her back arched off the table as she screamed herself hoarse. Her
body bucked against him in a desperate attempt to prolong the wave she was
riding even as her mind screamed she couldn’t take any more. His feather-light
kiss against her shoulder made her smile as she lay sprawled against the bench.

“You did wonderfully, pet.”

He pulled away, and untied her wrists massaging each to bring back
circulation.

“How do you feel?”

“Exhausted, yet completely sated and
content.”

“Good. I knew it’d be like this with you.”

She sighed as he massaged her back gently as she came down
from her high before he helped her off the bench and guided her toward the
bathroom.

“Let’s get you cleaned up and into bed. You can barely stand
up.”

The pride in his words was hard to miss, and she rolled her
eyes. Men of all ages were the same.

Chapter
Twelve

Sutton took a deep
breath as she stood outside the door to her condo and mentally prepared herself
to enter. So much had changed over the past couple of days. She and Sidney had
ironed out an official contract as he officially took her on as his submissive.
Because of the restrictions of her job they had opted to do an alternate
version of a collar, a white gold set of handcuffs studded in diamonds that
rested in the small of her cleavage where they wouldn’t be seen during her
shift. Between bouts of love-making and play they’d talked about numerous things.

They balanced each other out in a weird way.
Sidney
had the uncanny
ability to talk her through her self-doubts and neurotic tendencies.

She helped him loosen up and trust.
Sidney
’s childhood had
been a rough one. As the only son of four siblings it had fallen on him to
protect the women in his family from their alcoholic Father. It was that
experience that led him to study human behavior, and geared him toward the need
to be in control. He had promised to be more candid with her, and she had promised
to try to overcome her penchant for putting her needs last.

Carissa’s car was in the driveway, so she knew she’d be
home. It was time for Sutton to get her space back and stop feeling responsible
for a grown-ass woman. She caressed the jewelry for reassurance before she
unlocked her door and stepped inside.

Carissa lay across her beige suede couch with a remote on her hand and a
blanket covering her body.

“We need to talk.”

“Oh, so now you want to talk?”

“I’m serious, Carissa. Turn off the TV.”

Carissa complied, eyes wide as she stared at her in
shock.

She set the remote on the couch
and placed her hands in her lap as Sutton made her way over to sit at the couch
across from her.

“I think it’s time you head back home. You and Mom have had
plenty of time to cool off, and I want my space back to myself.”

“Look, Sissy, I’m sorry about our fight—”

“It’s not even about that, Carissa. I meant what I said
earlier. It’s time for you to grow up and take on your own responsibilities. I
will always be here to help you, but I’m done being taken advantage of.”

“I wasn’t taking advantage of you!”

“Yes, you were, and it’s not your fault because it’s
something I’ve always let you do. You made a mistake, and I took care of
everything while you got to carry on like nothing happened.

I can’t do that anymore.”

“All of this over some man.”

“No.
Over my need to have my own life,
Carissa.
I’ve spent so much time trying to please Mom and take care of
you that I lost myself. But that’s over.” Sutton placed her hands over her
sister’s and offered up a smile. “I think it’s time we get to know each other
for who we really are and stop playing our roles.”

Carissa met her sister’s eyes and nodded as they glistened
with tears. “I never really hated you, Sutton. You were just impossible to live
up to, and if I couldn’t be like you I had to be the exact opposite.”

“Carissa, the only thing you have to do is be you.”

“Try telling Mom that.”

“Mom is a lonely woman who puts too many demands on us, and
we’ve all let her because we feel bad about her losing Dad.
I,
for one, plan on putting my foot down from now on.”
Sutton shook her
head as she thought of
Jackson
’s
impromptu appearance at work.

“Good luck with that one,” Carissa said.

They glanced at each other and laughed. The rift between
them seemed to grow smaller now that everything was out in the open.

“We’re going to be okay, Carissa,” Sutton said as she pulled
her into a warm hug. It would take some time, but Sutton knew eventually they’d
get things ironed out between them.

Epilogue

“Are you ready?”
Sidney
asked.

Sutton nodded her
head as she placed her hand in the crook of his arm, and they made their way up
the cement walkway that led to the two-story brick house she’d grown up in.
After almost nine months of dating, she and Sidney had deemed it past time they
visited her hometown. Her sister Carissa had warmed up to him months back, and
he’d even earned the seal of approval from her brothers. Landon, Wyatt, and
Noah had come up to visit for a long weekend and had ended up hitting it off
with her professor swimmingly. Her mother was the last challenge. She knocked
on the door and beamed when her mother answered the door and gave her a huge
hug.

“It’s so good to have all my babies under the same roof
again!” her mother said before she pulled back.

“It’s good to see you, too, Mom.”

Sutton stepped back and smiled as
Sidney
wrapped a strong arm around her waist.

“Mom, this is
Sidney
.
Sidney
, this is
my mother.”

“It’s nice to meet you, Mrs.

Atkins,” he said as he extended a hand.

She felt her heart race as her mother studied him quietly.

“It’s nice to finally meet you, Sidney, and you can just
call me Ida.” Her mother stepped back and waved them into the house. “That’s
enough jawing on the porch. Come on in before we give the neighbors something
to talk about.”

Sutton chuckled as
Sidney
led her inside. No matter how long she was
gone,
every
time she came back things were exactly the same.

“You guys are the last to arrive, so everyone’s in the back
yard. We’ll start bringing out the food now.”

Her mother led them through the kitchen to the patio door
that opened out onto the back porch, and Sutton paused.

“Sid, you already
know
everyone
else, so why don’t you go outside while I help Mom?”

He gave her a peck on the lips and gave her hip a squeeze
before he opened the sliding door and slipped outside to join her
siblings.

She moved over to lean against
the counter and waited for her mother to initiate the long anticipated conversation.

“What do you want me to say, Sutton?”

“I don’t want you to say anything. I want you to
listen.

I know this is the first time
you’ve met Sid in person, but between my schedule and his it hasn’t been
possible until now. As soon as I walk out those doors it’s going to take
Carissa about five minutes to notice this.”

She held up her left hand to reveal the two carat solitaire diamond ring
Sidney
had
presented her with a week prior.

“Oh my God,” her mother whispered. She covered her mouth
with a shaky hand as she glanced up at her.

“Sid asked me to marry him, and I said yes. I love him, Mom.
He treats me well, and we balance each other out. I have nothing but the utmost
respect for you. You raised us all after Dad passed, and you did an excellent
job. But I can’t keep living my life worried about your opinions and how
they’ll affect you.

I know you’re the
one who sent
Jackson
to my job. Things like that have to stop. You need to accept that I’m old
enough to make my own choices. We all are.”

“All I’ve ever wanted was for you to be happy, Sutton. Of
all my children, you’re the one who I worry about the most. I put too much
responsibility on you. You were a child, and I forced you to grow up much too
soon. That wasn’t right, Sutton.” Tears rolled down her Mother’s face as she
took Sutton’s hands in her own. “You took the role of den-mother to heart,
Sutton. It’s in every goal you set and achieve. I’ve been forced to watch that
drive almost isolate you from everyone else. I guess I’ve overcompensated to
assuage the guilt I felt. I wanted to see you happy and settled, so I pushed
when maybe I should have backed off.”

Sutton was stunned by the things her mother had revealed.

“Mom, I’ve spent the past few years feeling like a complete
disappointment to you. I know you wanted me to follow a different path—”

“I’ve always been proud of you!” Sutton closed her eyes as
her mother embraced her and stroked her hair.

“I am so sorry I made you feel that way, baby girl. If this man is the
one you want I trust your judgment.”

Tears filled Sutton’s
eyes as she basked in the feeling of joy. She had not envisioned their
conversation anything even remotely like this. For once, it was nice to be
wrong.

They pulled apart a few moments
later. A comfortable silence filled the room as they wiped away their tears and
gathered their emotions.

“We should head out there before your brothers come in and
demand food.”

She nodded and laughed.
“So true, Mom.
What do you want me to take out first?”

“Grab the salad, and I’ll get the rolls.”

Sutton nodded, grabbing the giant wooden bowl full of mixed
greens, eggs, and cherry tomatoes out of the fridge, and headed outside.
