His fingers were large and she released a cursed moan. All she could feel was him, all she could think was to chase down the orgasm which was tempting her at the end of this wicked game they played out in the open. The heat and pressure in her lower belly started to build; his mouth expertly drove her closer to the edge of sanity.

A throat clearing jarred her. William was gone, and she fell flat on her stomach, a sprawled mess of hungry need that had lost her orgasm.

“NO!”

A wave of icy air swept over her and she whimpered and curled up. William’s large hand pressed against her lower back. She knew two things. Someone had seen what they were doing, might possibly have been watching the whole thing, and she hurt between her legs so bad she wanted to hump a tree to find her release.

What is happening to me?

“I hate to interrupt this hot little home sex movie, but would you mind telling me why this Earth Fae is currently trembling on the ground and on my land, Tethur Mac Cacht?”

A roar split the air around them. Under her still-trembling body the earth seemed to shift and rumble.

“Careful, now. You don’t know how to use that, sweetie.”

The voice sounded like a song. It was thick and rich like warm chocolate. Yet, it was so cold suddenly. She felt those thick-muscled arms slide under her knees and wrap around her back. Before she could protest she was lifted into William’s embrace. He pressed her against his chest. He felt so warm. Curling up and pressing against him, she let a kiss drop against his chiseled pectorals. He rumbled and she felt him nuzzle against her hair.

“Oh, for the love of...”

“How do you know my name, witch?”

Sorscha peeked over at the woman and was struck dumb by how awesome she was. The woman seemed to be made from ice. Her long blonde hair was nearly the color of freshly falling snow and it tumbled in waves past her rear end. Her eyes glowed a very bright sapphire blue. Her skin looked fresh and seemed to glow. Snowflakes dotted her hair and skin like diamonds.

The dress... It shimmered in shades of blues, teals, purples, and white. It hugged a body that would make Scarlett Johansson envious.

“Wow!” she whispered.

The woman did a little bow and said, “Why, thank you, darlin’.” She winked.

She watched as a very tall, very striking male came up next to the woman. He wasn’t big like William per se, but he was epic in his perfection. She noticed the sharp, pointed ears first that slipped past his long fall of hair. His dark eyes looked welcoming. He had on a leather jacket, opened to expose his rippling abs. The men here were either really arrogant or clothes were just frowned upon in this strange dreamland.

“I told her.” The voice slid over her flesh and she felt an instant moment of pure, sweet submissive arousal and then she burst in William’s arms. The orgasm that was unfulfilled before shattered inside her, and juices flowed from her poorly-covered cunt. She squirmed in William’s arms, her nails scouring down his hard chest. She heard that roar in the back of her hazy brain and it only increased the thundering climax that pulsed through her.

When she finally came to, her gaze rose until it locked on William’s seething face. Sorscha swore that fire was going to blow out of his flared nostrils. She sucked in a breath and tried to move from his arms. Still on the ground, his arms tensed around her and she was yanked back. William fixed her with a hard, intimidating gaze as his forehead pressed against hers. She swallowed hard, anticipating a threat.

“If you ever come again without my dick inside you, or my mouth or fingers, you will be punished,” he promised in a low growl.

“Punished?” she squeaked.

“I’ll turn that plump arse of yours pink, tie you to a tree, and torment your sweet little cunt and those big pink nipples for hours. Until you beg.”

“Beg?” She couldn’t form more than single-word answers. What happened to grumpy William? She thought she missed him.

“Beg and plead.” That sexy smirk broke free and he kissed her lips quickly.

Stunned and not really knowing what to make of that, she glanced over at the ice Queen again. This time she was shooting daggers at the handsome elf. The once-confident male looked sheepish as he bowed to the woman.

“You couldn’t shut your mojo down for like five seconds? You just had to piss off the bear? I doubt if we play dead with him he will buy that shit.” Hands on her hips, she turned back toward William and Sorscha.

“I’m sorry, my sweet Queen. I’ll make it up to you later.”

“Bet your ass you will.”

She dropped her arms and tangled her fingers together in front of her.

“Why have you come here? Why have you interrupted us? For that matter, what is going on?” William demanded.

She had to admit the grumpy bear was back and she liked both. The sexy, pussy-eating man and the rude, grumpy bear—together they were perfect.

“Well, you did pop up on my turf, handsome.” The Ice Queen smirked.

Something tight wrapped around Sorscha’s chest. She was not amused by this hot, sexy woman calling her man handsome.

My man?

She didn’t think about that for long. William was all over the woman with demands.

“Your turf?”

“Oh, that’s right. You’ve been gone a bit with your...” She winked at Sorscha, who blushed again.

William rumbled low in his throat and looked down at her. She met his smoldering gaze and her pussy ignored her brain and started to seep again.

“Keep it up, little one, and I’ll pin you to one of these trees, audience or not, and drive my dick in you. You try my patience,” he promised.

She swallowed and looked back to the duo. The ice Queen looked wholly amused, but the elf looked uncomfortable and shifted, like he wanted to get moving.

“Anyway, I’m Queen Cassandra, the winter fae Queen. This stud here is my husband, Eridus.”

William physically tensed and dropped to a knee.

“My apologies. I didn’t know you had come home.”

“Oh, get up. Don’t be silly. I was raised just like your woman; I think this archaic bullshit is out dated. I’m still trying to get Netflix up in this joint. I’m missing The Vampire Diaries and not thrilled.”

“I’m not─”

“I wouldn’t finish that, Sorscha, unless you want me to prove how mine you really are.”

William rose to his feet. She didn’t look up at him.

Sorscha really didn’t know how to take all this caveman talk. Half of her rebelled, starting to squirm to be put down, but he held her tighter with ease. The other half wanted to get on all fours and beg him to, how did he put it, shove his dick in her balls deep. She shivered and he snarled. Cassandra laughed and turned to leave. The ethereal woman took a step onto the lake water and it froze instantly under her. She started to walk forward and with each step the water froze, a spot just large enough for a path across the lake.

Sorscha stood up slowly; with William hovering it was hard to move. The man had no concept of personal space.

Finally the elf man spoke up.

“We don’t mean any harm; we just need to get you some place under cover. You destroyed this gate; it is not the only one. We also need to get you─” He looked over Sorscha. That pang of arousal knotted between her legs and she whimpered. “—clothed,” he mumbled.

William’s large arm wrapped around her chest and she shoved back into him.

“Please,” she whimpered.

“Shut it down, elf! I won’t tolerate it again.”

“I apologize. My wife is close and sometimes I can’t control it around her.”

William grunted. He released her body, but grabbed her hand and yanked her towards a pile of what looked like rags.

“I have clothes, but I agree, we need to get her dressed and hidden. Is your castle glamored?” William asked.

“Of course.”

He huffed and started to dress. William yanked from the pile of old leather that looked aged for years. He quickly dressed. The pants were tight and did nothing to hide the hard cock pressing against the worn leather. The top was open and exposed his powerful and very wide chest. Hell, she could just stare at that for hours. Then he pulled out swords, crossing and attaching them to his person—fuck, she was gonna come right there. Sorscha took a step back and sucked in her breath.

He was amazing.

Like some big bad-ass warrior from Lord of the Rings. All her nerd girl fantasies were coming true and she hoped to God it wasn’t a dream. Her lips flapped like a fish out of water as he prowled towards her. He was frightening and sexy, and every inch of her craved his sexual touch all over again.

Here.

Now.

In the mud.

“Just take me, please,” she whispered and he stopped short.

His eyes flashed hunger and she licked her lips. They were warring, debating.

“Later. That’s a promise. Maybe I will make you run while I chase. It will be fun to take you down again.” He winked and she nearly melted into the ground.

In one quick motion he had her up and over his shoulder.

“Will, oh come on! I’m not some dumb chick. I can walk. Put me down!”

She didn’t realize the elf was at their side until he spoke.

“Human women tend to not like being manhandled in public. They like to appear strong and independent for appearances.”

“She’s not human,” William grunted.

“That may be, but she was raised in a different world. You’ve been with her, you should know this.”

Stopping just short of the icy path, she waited for him to do something.

On a grumble, he slowly slid her down his body. Lordy, she felt it all. The hard planes, the shifting muscles, and the hard meat between his thighs. The whole way down she watched his face and he watched hers. Leaning forward, she held her breath. Was he going to kiss her, lick her—punish her? Oh, the endless possibilities.

“Remember, little rabbit. Run and I will pursue.” He winked and, grabbing her hand, tugged her across the surprisingly warm ice trail.

“Why do they call you Tethur?” she asked.

“Because it is my name, little rabbit.”

“Please stop calling me that. It’s silly and makes me sound stupid,” she whined.

“But I like it,” he stated.

Well, that left no room for argument.

She tried something else.

“What did he mean by human, and what did you mean by I’m not human?”

“Not now, Sorscha. Let me get you safe and then I will explain everything.”

“Oh yes, because you’ve done a bang-up job for the last twenty-three years.”

His hold tightened on her hand, to the point of aching.

“Hey, ease up, grizzly! I just asked a question. Right now I’m thinking this is all a really fucked-up dream. I need you to make it real. I need to understand.”

The weight of everything that had happened to her so far was finally starting to settle and she stumbled. Without words, he scooped her up into his arms and nuzzled her neck, all without pause.

“I’m sorry.” His voice was muffled against her neck.

Tears started to fill her eyes.

She fought to hold them back but it hurt too much. Between the burning behind her eyes and now her throat, she replied in a hoarse tone.

“Are my parents really dead?”

He hesitated, taking a deep breath. His strong heart beat just under her hand. It soothed the ache that built inside her.

“Yes. I’m sorry. They were guardians, like me. We—failed.”

Sorscha felt the tears silently run down her cheeks. She looked up at him. He was staring down at her. A thumb swiped away her tears.

“I’m alive. I say that’s an epic win.”

He smiled down at her; it didn’t quite reach his eyes. Something inside the big, arrogant, growling brute pained him. He saw any loss as a fail, while she saw any life saved as a win. She would survive her parents’ death. She might not survive if William—or Tethur—was taken from her.

“It is going to take a while for me to get used to your—real name.”

“You may call me William if you prefer.”

“No, that would be kinda shitty. I mean, it’s not your name.”

“You’re taking this well.”

“Would you rather I curl up in a ball and become a weeping mess?”

He seemed to mull this idea over.

“No, you’re right. However, I understand if you need—time. Everyone needs time to absorb this life.”

She lightly petted the rough chest hair that coated his hard, muscled pecks. Sucking in her bottom lip, she replied, “Tell you what. I’ll get to wherever we are going, take a long bath, and have a breakdown in the bath for you. I’ll throw a few things, curse God, and make sure I make a real show of it. How’s that?”

That got a whole-hearted booming laugh from him. He tossed back his head and his whole body shook against hers. He made her smile and snuggle against him closer.

“Why did you always act like you hated me?”

His feet stumbled and he snarled.

“If people knew, if I even showed the world what you were to me—it was dangerous. I had to treat you like a child. It was my only option.”

“Now?”

His finger slipped under her chin and lifted her gaze to his. His expression was very serious.

“Make no mistake that you are mine. And have no doubt that I will be claiming you very soon. It would be—barbaric of me to claim you on the ground like nearly happened back there. I owe the Queen a debt for stopping that.”

Sorscha felt warm heat spread from her lower belly down to her now weeping cunt. Tethur’s eyes rolled back in his head, his nostrils flared, and he groaned.

“You are not making this easy. Remember I am half beast. My instincts where you are concerned are—dangerous.”

Somehow she didn’t mind.

“I know,” she said under a heavy-lidded gaze.

His growl was cut short by Cassandra’s musical voice.

“We’re here!” she nearly sang out in a perfect bravado.

William set her down carefully, and they gazed at one another for a few moments. She took a few steps back, giving herself space from his—everything.

Sorscha started to turn her body. She realized that Cassandra’s impulses towards the dramatic wouldn’t allow anyone to be preoccupied for very long. Pressing her fingertips to her lips, she ran them slowly over her pout. The memory was so fresh of how powerful, raw, and warm William—Tethur—had been.
