The voice of Marok issuing his final order from outside made William only more determined.

“Kill the beast. A feast for the orc who brings me his head.”

William sent the fridge flying. It tipped and crashed, killing several orcs in its path. His bulk crushed more as he shoulder-charged the basement door. Plates and knives hit his back but he moved on; nothing would stop him. It was his way. Down the stairs he went, into the dark basement. The bastards were in, rushing to the hole. He confronted them, killing twenty or more, hitting, biting and tearing their pitiful bodies.

With a last growl he shifted back. Remnants of his clothes clung to him, blood covered his fresh wounds and he hurt.

“What do we do, Will?” Her voice was broken. She was scared and lost.

William grabbed a large stone from a mantel above the fire and threw it on the coals. It ignited, sending a bright light into the room.

The room was large, some thirty feet long by twenty wide. On the longest wall a mirror covered its entirety.

“I’m taking you home!”

Pointing, Sorscha followed his aim. The mirror had no reflection, but it resembled a glorious painting. A landscape of dreams, a land so beautiful it took away your fears.

“Home? Oh my God! It’s real.”

With no time or thought, William scooped her over his shoulder and entered the mirror. The flames licked and spit, crackling with intensity. The heat grew and the flames lengthened, tasting the mirrored glass, cracking it, closing the doorway forever.

O
smaldis stood, overseeing the house as it crumbled before his eyes. Shrieks of burning orcs tormented his resolve as huge flames erupted, taking the remaining wood and brick and licking it into ash.

“Who was that, the beast?” Marok asked, watching his remaining soldiers gather round.

“You didn’t know him, Marok? He knew you, and he knew me. We are age-old enemies. He is of this world, an ancient Celt warrior, loyal to the bastard king. The girl’s guardian and protector. He is worth a thousand of your orcs.”

“You think? Then I will get more and I will tear the hide from his dark dead carcass.”

“He is one of a few. Before I pulled you from your sac I fought his kind. I saw seven Celts fight ten thousand orcs. They defeated my army like a wind topples a blade of grass, Marok. I suggest you create a few hundred thousand. Build me an army.”

With that, Osmaldis turned and walked into the darkness.

Chapter Four

––––––––

M
uscle, a steel band locked around her thighs as she struggled to get away.

It was useless. William had her locked under the water. The smothering effects sent her into a panic. Sorscha desperately tried to punch, pinch, and pull on his long hair to get him to free her. The urge to breathe assaulted her and she sucked in a pile of water. Her eyes went wide in the murky depths. Clawing at his shoulder and her own neck, fighting for air, they broke the surface. Light, blinding in its perfection and warmth, spilled on her as she started to cough up what felt like a gallon of water.

Her throat was sore; her arms ached from her struggle with the large man. Panting, coughing, warm tears spilled down her cheeks.

What the fuck was happening?

William, the powerful man that walked them up the shore, wasn’t what he was supposed to be. That much was obvious. He snarled and stomped. The vibrations of his rage echoed in her body. She tensed before he dropped her unceremoniously on the ground. Her knees hit the silky mud hard, yet the impact seemed to be absorbed by the earth below her. Something warm radiated through her limbs. Still coughing, pressing her palm against her throat which was now as dry as a desert, she turned her anger on the man who had nearly drowned her.

“Protector, huh?” she coughed. “Some protector. I was a few seconds away from blacking out. What the hell was─” She froze as she looked up.

William, the handsome, frustrating, grumpy bastard that shared her deepest, darkest fantasies, was gone. In his place was something out of a nightmare. Well, a large forest beast wasn’t really a nightmare, but when it was eyeballing you as if you were dinner—then it became a nightmare.

For long moments they just stared at one another, him seeming to size her up, and her wondering if he had just eaten the only man in her life other than her father and random co-workers. Sorscha rested on all fours, her heart pounding against her rib cage to the point of pain. Her first instinct... run.

Slowly she backed up.

I think I’m supposed to play dead.

However, in this place, this foreign land William had called home, she had no clue what the rules were. She knew the sun caressed her nearly bare back. The ground beneath her seemed to vibrate along with her body’s tremors of fear.

“Nice teddy bear... Yes, that’s a good boy; you don’t want to eat me. I taste like really salty dirt. Just stay there. I’m sure William was more than enough to get you all filled up.”

Oh, God, William. Was her...

She shook the thought away. Swallowing against the dry pain in her throat, she started to rise, her hands up, palms facing him. She looked over his shoulder, scanning as much of the landscape as she could without turning around. It was water, lake or river as far as the eye could see behind the bear. Which meant behind her would be land, a lot of land with a really big bear chasing her. Sizing him up one more time, she took a cautious step back. He came forward on a growl.

Sorscha let out a high-pitched squeak, spun around on the balls of her feet, and started to flee.

“Stop right there, Sorscha.” William’s deep rumble washed over her. He was sensual, almost—playful?

No, that couldn’t be.

Turning just her head around, her gaze locked with his. Where the bear once stood, there was William, only he wasn’t full man. Dark fur absorbed into his flesh and his muscles seemed to make a horrible wet noise as they readjusted on his huge frame. She couldn’t help herself; she turned all the way around. William’s large—paws—were fisted at his sides and they slowly became hands.

“Oh, God...”

“Don’t move. Don’t turn around. Don’t even run.”

She swallowed and jerked her gaze back up to his face. Sorscha had been so preoccupied with the large cock pointing seemingly right at her that she didn’t even realize he was stalking towards her slowly, as if she were prey. Something tickled up her spine and heat bloomed all over her face and body. Glancing down, she realized her splotchy blush covered her belly, thighs, and was quickly heating her face.

“I often wondered if you blushed all over.” That snarled whisper shot straight to her clit.

Closing her eyes, she pressed her legs together and prayed for strength to get through this. William was a bear, the bear was William. They had gone through a magic mirror like something in a fairy tale and now he ate up the distance between them as if he was ready to capture her.

When he was nearly to her she jumped back and held up a hand. She breathed hard and kept taking slow steps away from him.

“No! You stop!” she demanded.

He did, and an amused smirk played on his sensual lips.

Ah, fuck, now he decides to play? Now! When I have no clue what the hell is going on, he wants to be all sexy and hot.

“I wouldn’t do that if I were you,” he warned.

She met his gaze and saw a flash of something that could only be called lust. His eyes seemed to glow under the mask of his rough exterior.

Shaking her head, she kept moving back. His eyes travelled down her body, first locking on her breast. She realized she only wore the damned bra and panties set. Yes, it matched, but her hard nipples stood out in all their aroused glory for him to savor. Savor he appeared to be doing, as his tongue traced his lips.

“Oh, so you drool like an animal too. Great.” Her voice shook.

Her bold mocking was shot to hell when she yelped again as he stepped forward. His scent was all around her and she felt the hunger rise up like a tidal wave inside her. Her breasts suddenly felt even larger than they already were. Two giant aroused melons stuck to her chest. He growled and looked about to pounce when she turned and started to run.

“If you run, I will chase you down. When I catch you, I will claim you. I will shove my dick in that tight little wet untouched cunt right up to my aching balls, and all you will know is me. All you will scream is my name. I will fuck you, and I will own you. It is what I was meant to do.”

That stopped her.

It should’ve made her move faster, but she found that his words, those dirty, crude, sexy words that rumbled out of him like a beast ready to claim what was his, made her want just that. Her labia got swollen and she felt fresh juices leak from her fluttering pussy. Balling her fists at her side, she stopped running and kept walking. She had taken all of two steps when that deep growl warned again.

“I like to chase. Especially when I already know what I’m chasing is mine.” He was silent for a moment, but she felt the vibrations of his footfalls under her own feet.

Panicked, she started to walk again. It was hard to walk when you were this aroused. It felt like each word touched a different part of her body, arousing her even more. The chase comment turned her thighs to putty.

“Come on, Sorscha. You’ve been waiting years for this. I saw it; I smelled it like I do now. Do you know how hard it was earlier to not sit you on that countertop in the kitchen and bury my tongue between those sweet pussy lips?” He growled and she could swear he nearly roared.

She moved faster, trying to get to the tree line.

I can climb a tree. Yes. Wait, don’t bears climb trees?

She whimpered and heard him laugh behind her.

“Yes, run, little rabbit. Run...”

Who the fuck was this guy?

William had always been cold and unfeeling with her. He ignored her at best most of the time, even when he showed interest. She dared a glance over her shoulder and cried out when she realized he was an arm’s length away from her. Well, a William’s arm length.

“Fuck that smell. MINE!” He roared before he pounced, this time successfully locking his beefy arms around her waist and taking her down to the ground. He didn’t cushion her fall, the bastard.

“William, stop, please. What are you doing? Wait...”

As much as she struggled, it all seemed to help him get her where he wanted her. Without much force he had her on all fours. Actually, he had her on her knees, her shoulders touching the ground and the side of her face pressing hard into the dirt.

“Damn it, Will. What the fuck!” She was angry, scared, and confused.

This had to be a God damn dream. William would never do this kind of shit in her waking hours when she, you know, actually wanted him to do this shit to her. He took each one of her arms and pinned her hands to her lower back. Her shoulders started to ache and she whimpered. Hot breath whispered over her cheek.

“I told you not to run, little rabbit.”

She opened her mouth to give him a piece of her mind, and end that little rabbit crap. She was not a rabbit. If anything she was a mountain lion. She struggled for a moment before she felt the hot press of his lips on the back of her neck. A wet, rough tongue drew slow, lazy circles before it trailed down her spine. Her pussy ached something fierce and to ease the pressure she parted her thighs more. His large dick nudged at the crotch of her panties. Her eyes rolled back in her head and she moaned.

His laugh threatened to break through her cloud of arousal, but not quite, when he nipped at her lower back.

Sorscha knew she wasn’t a super model. She had fluff in places most guys were turned off by. Yet William’s free hand kneaded all those fluffy spots: her rounded belly, her thighs, and finally one single finger found the swollen, aching button between her legs and she was done. Why should she fight this? Her dream was happening. Dream or not, she decided to roll with it. But God damn, he felt so real.

William was now crouched behind her. Her ass poised high in the air, she pressed back against him. Sorscha rolled her hips and ground against the finger that now made a slow circle around her clit. His growl only served to pique her desire. Need crashed through her and she let out a little laugh as he pressed his hot mouth to her covered cunt.

“Oh, God, Will, please...” she begged.

Oh, God, would she beg for more if it meant he would seal the deal?

“Please what?” His finger teased the edge of her panties that rested in the curve where her thigh met her mound.

“More...” she breathed.

She had turned into a fountain of wanton need. Every inch of her purred for more, when she felt cold air against the hot lips between her legs.

“Honey. I swear it is honey spilling out of your hot little cunt,” he rumbled.

His crude words should have knocked some sense into her. Nope, not anymore. For some reason she embraced this new woman that had bloomed on the shore of this lake. This unknown land William had called home. Without a snarled warning, he nudged her panties aside. He traced his hot tongue from the bottom of her swollen, pink lips all the way to her tender little nub. He nipped and she cried out, her hips bucking against his mouth.

“That’s a good girl. Take it, take what you want. You are mine. Do you know how many years I’ve waited for this? I have dreamed every night of pinning you down on your belly and shoving my dick in your cunt, stretching it with my hard thick shaft until you beg for me to pound you like a rutting bear. And then when you are so wet you need to come, I’m going to take it out and fuck your sweet, tight ass. And when your ass is sore I’ll stick it back in your tender pussy until I come hard inside you. Your body is mine, to do with as I please!”

Sorscha couldn’t think. She couldn’t even calculate what needed to be done. Her body moved to the hot baiting of his tongue and mouth. Those perfect lips of his wrapped around the little bud and his tongue flicked back and forth, egging on her pleasure as she felt more juice seep from her core. She felt his thick finger nudge her opening, running up and down the wet slit before pressing in fast and unyielding to the knuckle.
