Jordan nodded at him, and he smiled at his partner. Some days he still couldn’t believe how lucky he was to have met this man. Jordan was his opposite in almost every way, and whoever had said “opposites attract” had it dead right. They just fit together perfectly in work, in business, and in bed.

Osborne lay down on his back on the bed and lifted Kendra on top of him. He held his hungry, needy cock up straight and said, “He’s ready when you are.”

“Oh, I’m ready. If I was any more ready, I might just combust.”

“Combusting is fine,” said Osborne, then groaned as she sucked him deep inside her hot channel.
Talk about combust!
His cock about did, right then.

He held her still until he got himself under control, then pulled her flat onto his chest. He wrapped his arms around her and kissed her lips. “You feel so good like this.”

“Are you sure I’m not too heavy? I don’t know how you can keep picking me up like a toy. I’m no lightweight.”

“If I wanted to carry around a bundle of sticks, I’d go to the Garden Store. I like to have a real woman in my arms. Or a real man,” he added, watching Jordan fit his cock to Kendra’s rear entry. Damn if that wasn’t hotter than hell, too. Watching Jordan’s long cock gradually disappear inside Kendra was almost enough to make him explode.

Osborne breathed deeply, willing his dick to hold on a little longer. Then he felt Jordan’s cock slide alongside his, deep inside Kendra. Just the thinnest of tissues separated them from each other, and the sensations were exquisite. Sharing a woman like this brought out the most powerful emotions in him. In some ways, it was even hotter than when he and Jordan fucked each other. Adding that third person increased the emotional level exponentially. It wasn’t just his feelings and Jordan’s, but also Kendra’s. Watching Jordan and Kendra was every bit as hot as fucking her himself, or fucking Jordan. Osborne realized his thoughts were going around in a tangled kind of loop and gave up trying to explain it to himself. It just
was
. Being together like this was the best experience ever, and that was all that mattered.

Jordan nodded to him, and Osborne began to withdraw from Kendra. Once again, she was making the cutest little happy noises. He loved the way she did that, vocalizing her pleasure, but without words. It was so like her—efficient, smart, and fun.

He grabbed hold of Jordan’s hips, wanting to keep their movements totally synchronized, and also wanting to hold both his lovers at once. Kendra’s hands were on his shoulders, and Jordan placed his hands over Kendra’s, locking her between them but also unifying them. Osborne liked that. They were a unit, a team, a family, even though Kendra may not have quite acknowledged that yet.

He grinned then concentrated on his task—to make this Kendra’s best orgasm ever. His cock was so ready to explode, it was all he could do to focus on her instead of himself, but tonight was all about her.

Slowly he and Jordan moved in and out of her, keeping their actions synchronized so one of them always filled her. Their pace became faster, their strokes deeper and harder. His balls were drawn up against his body, tight and hard. From the look on Jordan’s face, he was hanging on by a thread, too. Kendra’s nails were digging into his shoulders, her eyes were closed, and her pelvis was grinding against his. She was close.

He pressed kisses against her face, and Jordan kissed along her shoulders. As if that was some kind of switch, her body convulsed, her cunt gripping his cock so hard he thought it might snap in two. Jordan groaned, and Osborne knew her ass was gripping Jordan’s cock as tightly as her cunt gripped his own.

Then she screamed. The pure joy in the sound unleashed his iron control, and his cock exploded in her cunt. Jordan thrust wildly into her once, twice, then stilled, and Osborne could feel the heat of Jordan’s release despite the membrane and two condoms separating them.

Chapter Six

Kendra’s life had settled into a very pleasant routine. At work, she’d developed some automatic systems for ordering the supplies that ran out most frequently and had neat spreadsheets of the shifts all the staff preferred and the ones they refused to take, so preparing the rosters took a lot less time now than it had at first.

She’d divided up the stock-take chores into zones, with one list for things that could be counted in work hours and a second list for what really needed to be done after hours. She’d even managed to file some of the mountains of paper from Osborne’s office.

At home, she loved the freedom and independence of having her own apartment. She hadn’t realized how much her self-esteem had been damaged by being kicked out of her former apartment by her roommate and having to live in her car. But now she had her own place again, she knew she needed this time and this haven of her own, even though she enjoyed very much sleeping over with the men. One day she’d be ready to move in with them, but not yet.

Her tiny apartment didn’t need much cleaning. She’d used to think she must be a neat freak cleaning her old apartment so often, but now she’d worked out it was because her roommate had been much messier than her and had seldom cleaned anything.

Osborne constantly demanded she dine out with them and sleep in their bed. Jordan was less demanding, but his hurt looks when she declined were more powerful than Osborne’s scowl, which she was accustomed to ignoring now. She insisted on having two nights each week in her own place, much to Osborne’s disgust, even going so far as to use that old cliché, “I have to wash my hair.”

Last night she’d put a deep magenta streak through her shoulder-length brown hair, after insisting she had to stay home, and she was wondering if Osborne would even notice. She was certain Jordan would appreciate the joke.

Today the last of the “in place” stock-taking would be completed, and tonight a team of staff would be arriving at ten to do the big, all-night-long marathon to finish the stock-take. Fortunately the staff had accepted the idea well. Some of them were keen to earn the money from the extra shift. Others just wanted it all finished. All agreed that not having children grab pool toys from the “counted” box and replace them in the “uncounted” one would be a definite advantage.

“Last year, I think I counted those damn floatie rings about ten times and got a different number every time,” groaned one lifeguard.

“Oh yeah. And when we turned the wave pool off to go fetch all the loose surfboards to count them, the kids in there about murdered us,” added another.

“And someone—was it Dave? Or Harry?—threatened to eat the leftover candy bars so the numbers did add up.”

Kendra laughed and handed them all their lists of which zones and what to count. She’d taken great delight in giving Osborne a zone in the maintenance bay, counting hammers and wrenches and things, and Jordan one in the stationery store, counting rolls of paper towels and toilet tissue. As for herself, she’d be counting toboggans for the waterslide and hoping like hell there were fifty as there were supposed to be, so she could then help anyone else whose job was taking too long.

As it turned out, there were only forty-five toboggans in the box.
Shit! Well, I could climb down the ladder and walk around to the splashdown pool to see if they’re there. Or I could go down the slide and check inside the slide itself as well as in the pool.

Kendra craned her neck to try to see in the pool, but it was impossible from up here at the start of the slide.
If I was smarter, I’d have looked in the pool first!

Yeah, well I didn’t, did I?

Checking inside the slide was logical. If the five missing toboggans weren’t in the pool, she’d have to climb all the way up that ladder again and check inside the slide anyway. She looked at her clothes. She’d changed into a T-shirt and sweat pants to make bending and climbing easier than in her business clothes, so it didn’t matter if they got wet. She could just get dried and change into her business clothes again anyway.

I bet the missing toboggans are just at the splashdown pool. I don’t need to get wet. I can just climb down the ladder and walk around.

But what if they aren’t? I’m gonna hafta climb up here again.

Next year I’ll do the stationery store!

Kendra grabbed a toboggan then hit the button to start the water running through the slide. She waited a minute or two to ensure it was functioning properly, then, sighing once again at the likelihood of having made the wrong decision and needlessly gotten all her clothes soaked through, she sat on her toboggan and began the journey. This late at night, it seemed darker than ever once she turned the first corner, but she knew what to expect now and deftly turned her body in the direction of travel to slide up and down the walls, yet still stay centered on her toboggan.

“Tell Melly I love her. You must tell Melly I love her.”

“What? Melly who?”

“Tell Melly I love her.”

Kendra tried to turn around to see who was talking to her, but she unbalanced herself, slid off her toboggan, and ended up flat on her back in the water rushing through the slide. The water filled her ears and whipped her hair out behind her, but she could still hear the voice saying, “Tell Melly I love her.”

Before Kendra managed to think about it anymore, she was ejected from the waterslide into the splashdown pool. Quickly she stood up, although she was so wet it hardly mattered anymore, and shook her hair out of her eyes. She grabbed her toboggan, and one other one that was floating in the pool, and walked out. At the edge she grabbed a handful of her T-shirt and wrung it out, then did the same with each leg of her pants. The she looked around for the rest of the toboggans but couldn’t see them.

“Most people go down the waterslide in swimwear,” said Jordan. His hands were on his hips, and his face was alight with laughter.

“Who’s Melly?”

“Say what?”

“Someone in the waterslide kept saying, ‘Tell Melly I love her.’”

“There’s someone in the waterslide? What the hell are they doing there? Why didn’t you tell them to get out?” asked Jordan sounding both angry and confused.

“I couldn’t see anyone. I fell off my toboggan when I tried to look. But I heard them quite clearly.”

“You stay here to catch them if they come out this way, and I’ll go back up the ladder,” said Jordan, running around to the ladder.

“They’re likely long gone,” she sighed, trying to wring more water out of her pants.

Kendra heard the water shut off, and then it was several minutes later when Jordan’s head appeared at the end of the slide. “No one here now,” he said. He sat there and took off his shoes before climbing out of the slide and walking through the pool.

“I suppose the other four toboggans weren’t there either?” she asked.

“Nope. I’d have seen them for sure. I came through quite slowly. Is that why you went down the slide?”

“Yes. I found one toboggan in this pool, but we’re still short four.”

“I expect the person who teased you was on the toboggan you found in the pool then. Right now I suggest you go and get dried. That’s what I’m about to do, too.”

“Good plan. Then I’m going to have to count the damn toboggans all over again to be sure.” She put the thought that someone had been teasing her out of her mind, and forgot all about “Melly.”

* * * *

“We have to make her understand we want her to be with us, full-time,” said Osborne.

Jordan nodded but tried to make Osborne grasp the significant point he was missing. “But she also wants her own independence.”

“So how do we get her to commit to being with us for now, and still let her feel she’s independent?”

“Leave her in her apartment. Let her sleep there a couple of nights a week like she wants to do, but make sure she feels appreciated and needed when she’s with us,” said Jordan.

“But we already do all that, and it’s not happening.”

“Do we? Have we ever actually said we love her?” challenged Jordan.

“Say it? Like, ‘I love you,’ down on one knee and all that stuff?”

“I don’t think we’re ready for the wedding ring, picket fence, and two-kids-and-a-dog scenario just yet, but I reckon it’s time to tell her we love her. In words.”

“Hmm.”

Jordan could almost see the little wheels and cogs turning in Osborne’s mind. He’d thought about it a bit himself, but had no clue where to go for the next step. Out to dinner again? Dancing—something they’d talked about yet never done—or something else?

“It was the Aquatic Center that brought her to us, so it really needs to be here. I’m guessing a note on her desk signed by both of us is not enough?” asked Osborne.

“Actually I like the idea of a note, but that’s not very romantic, or even unusual. She’s special to us, so we need to do something that she’ll remember and appreciate,” said Jordan. Now he was thinking so hard he wondered if Osborne could hear
his
brain whirring. “You don’t mind if everyone knows we love her do you? I can’t see it being inappropriate or anything, as any fool can tell she’s the best receptionist we’ve ever had.”

“What are you thinking, Jordan? I’ve never minded anyone knowing. She said what people might say worried her, but I don’t believe it matters at all. As you said, we’d have no difficulty proving she’s the best person for that job.”
