"I am the Queen of Eternal Return," she said to me, her voice telepathic and powerful within my consciousness. "You have elected to take my place in the cyclic offering of my body to the universe. The tribe which you will serve is but a single manifestation of those who will be supported by your touch. Take my awareness, and know that sexuality is not about technique, or even sensation, but about union and consciousness."

The information passed through the telepathy challenged everything that I had acted on, concerning sex, but violated nothing that I intuitively knew about the subject. I nodded in acknowledgment and comprehension. The witch continued:

"Your body is merely a physical conduit for the transmission of a deeper force, and that is the force that you are instructed to be the caretaker of; that is the force which you will transmit to all of reality. Life is an undulate flow of matter and energy, and you are the conductor."

I couldn't believe what was taking place, but the words the woman spoke had no other recourse but to be absorbed in the fertile soil that had been created in my being. I integrated her words into my identity, and realized that I had only tapped into a deeper aspect of my femininity; these words were truths that I had known all along, but had been too preoccupied to notice. I had been absorbed in the daily activities of my life as a singular woman. No matter how loose my contact with traditional social systems; no matter how far I had traveled, or what sorts of people I had met, never before had I felt so completely alien to myself, and yet so entirely at peace.

"The dream space which we occupy has a rapidly changing ecosystem. I will join the soul of the dream, and you will come to channel my current state as well. When the time is appropriate, you will transmit these capacities you have been gifted to yet another, and the cycle of Eternal Return will continue," the witch concluded.

After her speech, she turned into ash before my eyes; each piece of her skin rapidly turning from weathered flesh into chalky, burnt carbon. Pieces of her body fell to The Ivy, piling up like so much dust. Where the ash hit, The Ivy disintegrated, causing the remnants of the witch to fall down to the soil, where it could be absorbed once more into the ecology of the dream.

The Ivy released its hold on my body. I was surprised when rubbing my hands over my wrists and ankles. Where The Ivy had secured itself to me, I had no indentations or marks of decreased circulation. Instead of detrimental marks, or an absence of health, golden traced lines had transferred themselves onto my skin. My whole body looked as though a ritualized tattoo process had prepared me to be an immaculate vessel for life itself; none of this seemed out of the ordinary, it was all a matter of course; just another aspect of my place as a woman.

The Ivy began to shed itself, and disintegrate before my very eyes. All pieces of The Ivy that had been so monstrously prominent became wooden, and then turned into dust. I was left in the field once more, except this time, I was alone on the top of the boulder. Were another person to have looked at me from that point, they would have seen a figure similar to the woman that I had seen initially. To my knowledge, there were no other people around to notice. I did not have the presence of mind to question where my cape and head wreath had come from; everything appeared to be in its right place.

I looked down at my body, and noticed that my vagina was dripping down the boulder, and at each point of contact, moss sprang up from out of tiny pores in the boulder's surface. I stood and observed the phenomenon for a long while, and steadily realized that even the slightest sweat from the pores of my feet were causing vegetative bursts to overwhelm the world around me. A tear formed from my eye, and when that tear fell a fountain gurgled up from out from the ground, and began to pool itself along the prairie. The environment underwent rapid succession from grassland into an old growth forest. The sheer magnitude of change was too much for me to behold. I was in love, and I felt like an integral aspect of the environment in which I stood.

The realization that I was only an aspect of a much larger environmental context, was incredibly humbling for me. I came to the decision that my function within the context of the landscape was to facilitate growth in whatever way possible, and so I began to lay on the ground in meditative surrender. As soon as I relinquished control, a swell of joy and pleasure came out from around me in the form of chirping birds, blossoming flowers, and tiny, vivacious mammals.

"All that is missing is an apex predator," I thought; eco-systemic analysis entering my mind as a matter of natural process.

I thought nothing further on the matter of a predator, as I assumed that within the bounds of any functioning ecosystem, all components will naturally come about since nature abhors a vacuum. I resigned myself to be present within the very center of my mind. During my meditation, I imagined a massive tree, the largest in the wood to be growing from out of the ground beneath me. The soil below was conceived of as a fertile womb, and the seed necessary to engender such a massive tree was located within my heart.

Psychically, I removed the seed, and implanted it in the womb of mother nature. The seed attached itself to the environment with enthusiasm, and began to germinate. The tree started small, as all things do, but eventually it grew up and out from beneath me, and carried me upward at a slight incline. My body was lifted from its position on the ground, and slowly spread into an 'X', just a few feet above the ground. My arms, elbows, feet, and thighs were all comfortably supported by innate knots within the massive tree. The golden curves which had been inlayed on my skin glowed with a bright light, and expanded out beyond my skin, for the express purpose of securing my position to the tree in which I was suspended. Without a conscious thought, I was prepared to be crucified; my genitals completely exposed to the natural world. In spite of my vulnerability – in fact, likely due to it -- I felt a complete sense of calm.

Silence descended over the landscape, and all of the birds and smaller animals that had been previously so expressive vanished without so much as a sound. Creatures scampered up trees, and hid beneath bushes. Though the animals were intent upon their escape there was never any actual danger for them; only apprehension and an innate sensory motivation to find sanctuary.

Out from the brush in front of me, stepped forward a massive grizzly bear. The animal padded up to me, and sniffed my crotch, nuzzling me hard with its wet nose. The inhales were sharp and accentuated. I felt that the animal was bringing the deepest part of myself into him, assessing my connection to the environment, and whether or not he felt as though I had a place within the forest. I knew the bear was a male from the moment he touched me; I can't explain it, the carnal knowledge of the aspects of my environment was first nature to me now.

Rising from his haunches, the bear dug his claws into the tree between my spread thighs, and my forearms. Rising further still, to his full height, he placed his claws well above my head, and drooped his head down so that I was looking straight into his eyes. They say you can see the soul through the eyes. All I can tell you is that the depth and complexity that I witnessed when I looked into his rich auburn eyes was so striking that it shook me from my meditative state, and threatened to propel me further from my new identity, back into a previous and more fearful incarnation of myself. I banished the thought.

"There is no room here for cowardice," I affirmed to myself.

The bear leaned forward and licked my face. The tongue was dry and rough, and it was obvious that the creature was longing for access to water, and that it was my duty to provide that water for him. I nodded in affirmation, and began to urinate. My body no longer passed waste through my urine, as there were no longer any wastes to process; the resulting stream of water was warm and completely clear, its integrity compromised only by my pheromones. Where the water hit the ground, other waters joined from deep within the soil, rising up to form puddles at first, and then small pools of crystalline water. The bear's eyes changed from intensity, to an expression seeming to resemble longing; it was as though the animal could not believe that such a gift could be offered so freely, and without hesitation.

I had marked him, and provided water at the same time. He was now mine.

In sequence with the magical transformation of the environment, the water from the pools that had sprung out of the ground began to evaporate, causing a thick and cool mist to cover the atmosphere. Opaque water vapor passed between the bear and myself, and though the distance was only a matter of inches, the density of the mist was such that the only form that I was able to identify through the fog was the fluctuating form of a massive creature.

A deafening roar was belted out over my head, and the sound echoed beneath the canopy of the tree-line. I felt the tree shudder from the massive scratching paws, which was quite a thing to feel considering the tree was significantly larger than either of our two forms combined. I believe the sensation had to have been from an identification with the nature of the tree itself. My soul was a kindred spirit to the soul of the tree.

"We are connected," I thought, concerning the relationship between myself and the tree.

"And so shall we be," came a response, gravely and thick, as though the speaker was getting used to speech for the first time in ages.

I should have been frightened, but my heart was too expansive for fear to creep in and dominate the situation. Instead, I smiled, and let out a sigh of relief.

"I knew you were in there," I responded, "I could see it in your eyes."

The man before me was almost as large as the bear had been, though he had certainly shrunken in size. I must have been somewhat in a daze in order to make an analogy between such disparate sizes, or perhaps there was something within him that came out and made him seem larger than he may have otherwise appeared. He put his hand on my breast, and I swooned. I turned to the side to examine the deep grooves that had been clawed out from the tree not moments before; an effortless result of the same hand. The way his fingers dug into my breast was exhilarating, but I think what was even more exciting was the resilience of my flesh to his touch. No skin was broken. No blood was drawn. He held my body in a firm, yet gentle manner.

The next touch was a hand down my side, and a kiss to my lips. When he finally rested his hand on my thigh, I looked down to see how his body lined up with mine. I shuddered. His penis lined up directly with my vagina, and I was spread wide for him.

I wondered for a moment, how I would be interpreted by this creature; if my open position was something that would be revered and appreciated, or if I would be simply interpreted as a whore, or a beast to be rut, and discarded after the course of pleasure had run its path. He looked at me with intensity, and then took a knee before my body.

I let out a low moan of desire.

"He wants me," I thought, "He accepts my offering. He loves me for what I am."

The man leaned forward with his lips parted slightly and dipped his tongue between my labia, folding one over slightly with his fingertip in order to provide greater accessibility. The stroke of his tongue was firm, and decided. A rush of sensation traveled through my body, echoing the sensation of his broad and flat tongue against my clitoral hood.

If I hadn't been aroused before that moment, my body had quickly changed its physical expression toward a heightened sensory state. Vaginal cum started mixing with his saliva, and my nipples grew hard. I would have reached over to pinch at them, or to grab a tuft of his thick, shaggy hair, but my hands and legs were bound to the tree behind me. Try as I might, there was nothing to be done. I was completely at the mercy of a wild and compassionate stranger.

When his fingers entered me, I was surprised at how wide and rough they were. I felt like I could feel each ridge of his fingerprint; I know that's ridiculous, but that's how sensitive I was; it was incredible. He didn't play around inside of me. No; he was much more purposeful. He knew exactly where to push, how much pressure to apply, and how long to hold the position before moving into something else; at least that is what it felt like. Then I came to the realization that the man did not have any superior technique, or secret skill set. He was loving me; and that was enough.

My mind went back to what the witch had said prior to our departure, and I knew that the secret to this engagement was not that I was to be sexually available for whomever arrived, or even that it would be fantastic sex. The point was in fact, not the sex at all, but the deep sense of connection experienced between two human beings. I smiled, and called out to him.
