“It’s amazing how you can make a pair of blue jeans and a T-shirt look so feminine and classy. I’m glad you’re here,” he told her as he glided his hand down her thigh giving her leg a squeeze before he moved to his horse and mounted the saddle.

She took a deep breath as Evan smiled then winked before leading the way out of the barn. She followed hoping that the ride would calm her libido and stop her mind from wandering toward sex with Colton and Evan and how delicious they must look all naked. Initially, the bumping and motion of the horse aroused her pussy even more, but eventually the discomfort from lack of riding overtook her horny body and reality kicked in. It had been years since she’d had sex and years since she rode a horse. Tomorrow would bring a day of aches and pains of all kinds. She shook the thoughts from her head.
I am not going to have sex with Colton and Evan today. I can’t. Sex is a huge step and a commitment these cowboys may not be interested in. No sex. No sex.

As they rode the horses, she kept the chant going, and each time she looked them over or caught their eyes watching her, she chanted louder in her head. Now if only her body would listen.

They had ridden the horses for nearly an hour when they stopped by the small creek to let the horses rest and get a drink of water.

“This is so beautiful out here. You two must be happy to be able to work on completing your dream ranch.” She stood near the water and watched the horses drink.

Colton pet the horse, and she imagined his hands on her like that, rubbing along her shoulder, down her back to her rear. When Evan placed his hands on her hips and held her from behind, she nearly jumped. She had been lost in thought, watching Colton, but now Evan had her full attention. “Sorry, I didn’t mean to scare you,” he whispered on the top of her head. His warm breath collided with her hair, making small goose bumps travel under her skin. He moved the palm of his hand along her hip bone to her belly as he squeezed her while pulling her snugly against him. The feel of his strong arms wrapped around her and his solid, hard chest against her back made her feel safe and content. It was amazing what a man’s embrace could accomplish. It had been so long since one held her. She closed her eyes and leaned her head back against Evan’s shoulder until she felt him kiss her neck.

“We’ve thought about moving back to Delite for months. Evan and I wanted to revisit the family way of life we once had as kids. You know, the farming, the working hard on the ranch all day, and the warm, home-cooked meals at night,” Colton said as he slowly approached. By the time she realized he was directly in front of her, she felt his hands cup her face between his large ones.

It was such an amazing feeling to be touched by two men at once. Two desirable, lethally handsome cowboys, who made her want things she thought she had given up on until meeting them.

She looked up into Colton’s green eyes and held his gaze.

“You make me want things, Ava. Things a man like me never thought he would desire.” He was so serious, and she felt Evan kiss along her neck and squeeze her a little snugger as Colton spoke. It was as if Colton’s words and feelings were reiterated by Evan’s touch. The moment and sensation was so strong, she felt her entire body tighten.

“Like what things?” she whispered in a shaky voice that told these men they had her full attention.

Evan caressed his palm along her belly.

“A woman as beautiful as you to come home to at night.”

She was shocked by his words. She knew hardly anything about them. What was he thinking?

“Colton, I…”

He gently glided his thumb along her bottom lip as he remained holding her face between his hands.

“Don’t say anything. Please, Ava, this is so unlike me. I couldn’t sleep last night. I couldn’t stop thinking about you. That’s crazy.” He leaned closer and touched his lips to hers. He kissed her while Evan continued to kiss her neck as he moved her hair to the side. She felt his fingers graze along the underwire of her bra, but she couldn’t move. It felt so wonderful and so perfect to be caught in between each man. Colton’s kiss grew more urgent and needy as he swiped his tongue between her teeth and whisked along the inside, tasting her fully. She grabbed on to his forearms and kissed him back, allowing the moment to run its course. She felt free, alive, and desirable.

Then she felt Colton’s hard cock against her belly and Evan’s against her ass. Evan gently, slowly pressed his body firmer as he squeezed her tighter to him and her hips had a mind of their own as they counterrocked against both men. She moaned into Colton’s mouth, and Colton lightly thrust his hips against her. Both men moaned and Colton pressed the palm of his hand down her hip to the hem of her shirt. She felt his warm hand against her ribs and she wanted more. She wanted to wrap herself around both Evan and Colton and get lost in a fantasy with them. No thoughts of cancer, of the past, and of death, just thoughts of the joy and deep sexual pull that continued to grow the farther his hands disappeared under her shirt. As Evan’s fingers moved down her belly and then brushed against her mound, she tightened her hold on Colton’s shoulders.

His lips moved off her mouth momentarily, but Evan’s continued to suck along her neck, keeping her aroused.

“I want to touch you. Open for me, Ava. Let me feel you,” Evan said, sounding breathless. She gave him her answer by kissing him harder as she grabbed Colton’s face and held him best she could at her shorter height.

She felt the masculine fingers undo the clasp of her jeans, push down the zipper, then press against her panties. She was glad she had worn her stretchy jeans. She sensed Colton’s fingers replace Evan’s as Evan gripped her hip and pulled her back against his chest. Then she released a sigh of relief as Colton’s fingers pressed her panties aside, and she parted her thighs, giving him room to explore.

His thumb brushed along her pussy. She was wet and aroused. Her pussy seemed swollen.

“That’s it, baby, let him feel you,” Evan said then kissed her neck and shoulder while he pressed his hips and cock against the seam of her ass.

Colton maneuvered two fingers up into her pussy, making her gasp and release his lips.

Her head fell back against Evan’s chest. He caught her as Colton slowly thrust two fingers in and out of her pussy. She felt Colton kiss and nibble on her chin and throat while he pumped his fingers, making her hungry for more.

“So sexy and responsive. We’ve dreamt about this body, Ava. We want you.” Evan cupped her breast, and she gasped as the tears hit her eyes.

Those damn bruises. Damn it!

She shoved out of their arms and felt Colton pull his fingers from her as she held her arms against her chest and turned her back from them. She pulled her jeans into place with one hand and gasped as the ache subsided. The pain from the bruising stopped her from making a huge mistake. This was wrong. As much as she wanted them and felt the connection to Evan and Colton, now was not the time to begin a sexual relationship.

“Are you okay?” Colton and Evan both asked as she stood there. Colton turned her toward him and she covered her breast with her hand and hugged herself to Colton, trying to hide her reaction. Now she was completely embarrassed.

“Ava, please, baby, did I hurt you?” Evan asked her as he held her shoulders.

“Did I hurt you?” Colton asked, too.

“No, oh God, no, you didn’t.” She moved her hand away from her breast as she stepped back from Colton. She clenched the material of his shirt in her fist as she looked at Colton and then Evan.

“I’m sorry. I had gotten hurt nearly a week ago and I have some bruising,” she lied. Colton squinted his eyebrows as he gently moved her hair from her face and shoulder. He gave her shoulder a gentle squeeze as he looked down at her breasts and then her face.

“On your chest?” he asked, and she nodded.

“How did it happen?” Evan asked as he gently cupped her cheek in his hand.

She turned her face into it and closed her eyes, once again absorbing all the male affection she possibly could today, as tomorrow’s uncertainty lingered. The fact that her pussy felt so needy and cream dripped between her thighs, making her feel sticky, didn’t help her current state of mind. She should just tell them. But then, they might run away or want nothing to do with her. What guy or two would want a woman who had cancer? It wasn’t right to shove this burden on them. She hardly knew them at all.
Well, that hadn’t stopped me from letting Colton finger me, had it?
Ava shook her head and released a sigh.
She had to make something up. She wouldn’t tell them right now. She couldn’t.

“I slipped and slammed into the bar, chest first.”

“Ouch,” Colton stated.

“Did you see a doctor?” Evan asked and she shook her head.

“I’m fine. I’m sorry I pulled away, Evan. I was enjoying being with both of you,” she admitted, and their concerned expressions turned to smiles. So she lied and then told the truth about her feelings to make up for the lie.
Then why do I feel like such a bad person? I don’t like to lie. Lies hurt.

“Good. How about we head back to grab some lunch?” Colton asked.

“Sounds good to me,” Ava replied and was grateful to have gotten through that scary moment. She wanted their hands all over her. But she couldn’t let them see the bruising. She wouldn’t get them involved with this, too. Before she could walk toward the house, Colton took her hand and stopped her.

He leaned down and kissed her softly on the lips.

“Now we can go.” He smiled at her as he leaned his forehead against hers. His smile instantly brightened her mood and made her heart soar with hope for more days and moments like this with Evan and Colton.

* * * *

They finished eating lunch and Colton watched Ava as she looked around the living room. He wasn’t sure why he felt as if there was more to her story about bruising her chest, but in the kitchen, Evan told him to leave it alone. As he saw her reach for the picture above the fireplace, his belly tightened. She ran her index finger gently across the glass and smiled. She was stunning, and in that moment, Colton imagined Ava being around their home, spending time with them on the ranch, and perhaps, having a future filled with achieving dreams of the family he never thought he wanted. It was so strange, but even last night, as Evan and he talked about Ava, they discussed the future.

Evan admitted that he wanted a family. Colton wasn’t sure he did, but when he thought of Ava and her beauty, he thought of having a little girl with Ava’s gorgeous platinum-blonde hair or a son with her olive-green eyes and maybe his dark hair and Evan’s compassionate personality. Colton began to dream of things that a person from a stable family upbringing would want instead of from a family upbringing he was ashamed of. He damned his father for making him have this insecurity, and he thought of his mother, knowing that he and Evan had provided the love and care she needed to die in peace.

Colton slowly joined her.

She looked up at him and smiled.

“Is this your mom?” she asked and he nodded his head. It had been so many years since she passed. He didn’t tear up as easily, and he knew there was no sense in visiting that time again.

“She’s beautiful.”

“Thank you.”

“You two are so cute here. What were you, about ten?”

“Yeah, around that.”

He took the picture from her hand and looked at it. His mom was a very pretty and caring woman. She didn’t deserve to be treated so badly, and she surely didn’t deserve to die the way she did.

“Are you okay?” Ava asked, and he felt her hand touch his arm.

Ava was a caring woman, too. He liked that about her.

“She passed away when Evan and I were teenagers. After she passed, we joined the service.”

“Oh, I’m so sorry. How did she die?”

“Cancer,” Evan stated as he joined them in front of the fireplace as he looked at the picture, too.

Ava released his hand and stepped away from Colton. He knew that talking about someone dying was tough and especially when someone had cancer, but Ava looked suddenly pale.

“Are you all right?” Evan asked her, obviously noticing the same thing.

“I’m fine. I should probably get going.”

Colton placed the picture back onto the mantel.

“No, don’t go, stay a little longer,” Evan said as he reached for her hand and brought it to his lips. He kissed her knuckles and she smiled. Her cheeks were no longer pale, but a lovely shade of pink.

“Maybe a little bit longer,” she replied and Colton smiled.

Evan led Ava to the couch where they sat on either side of her.

“How about you? Do you have any family?” Evan asked.

“Just my fellow Dixie Chix and their men. I left Georgia, after my husband passed.”

Colton felt a tinge of something hit his stomach when she mentioned her husband. She was so young, and the tragedy she’d faced wasn’t fair.

“Did you have friends or anyone around to help you when your husband was diagnosed?” Evan asked and Colton knew where the line of questioning was coming from. Evan was thinking about their mother. If not for Colton and Evan, she might have died alone instead of in their arms.
