Ron broke the kiss, then picked up the Forbidden Pleasures bag and pulled Cara toward the bedroom. Once there, he dropped the bag on his king-sized bed. “Do you think body paint will clog the whirlpool jets?”

She laughed. “If it does, you’re explaining it to the repairman.”

He toed off his sneakers and kicked them under the bed. They’d settled into a domestic situation that could be described as “messily comfortable.” Each accepted the other as they really were, not playing any games except their sensual ones.

She stepped closer to the bed. “What else do you have in that bag?”

“Something leather, a little latex, and some silicone toys with multiple speeds.” He watched her expression light up at the thought of the veritable sex toy smorgasbord. Knowing his lusty lover, she’d also get off on the paddle and the nipple clamps he’d bought.

He dragged his polo shirt over his head and tossed it on the chair in the corner. “There’s also a sexy nurse uniform.”
