Turn bag right side out.
Get creative when finishing your gift bag.
If you used pinking shears when cutting out your fabric, you can leave the pinked edges along the top for a casual look that won’t unravel.
For a more finished look, hem the top edge.
You can tie ribbon, twine, or raffia around the top of your bag for a closure.
You could also use ribbon to create handles.
This pattern can be used to make gift bags in any size you want. Just change the dimensions keeping in mind seam allowances, the depth you need for your bag, and how much extra fabric you will need above your gift.
